Once upon a time there was a girl named Erin who wrote a poem for a school homework assignment. She didn't think the poem was very good, and so went to throw it in the trash after getting her grade back. She forgot all about what she wrote until the next month (while she was at parent/teacher conferences), when her teacher placed the crumpled up poem from the trash and set it on the table, challenging the girl to write. With the encouragement of her teacher and mother, Erin decided that maybe she should try writing after all, and set off on an adventure to create her own stories.

After spending a few years teaching and working in educational technology, Erin gathered her most favorite written stories and published them for others to read. So far she's written "The Ripple Affair" Series, a fantasy romance for adults, and "The Adventures of Captain Patty", a middle grade sea adventure that even grown-ups can enjoy.
