Francine L. Trevens created her first poem before she could write. She sold her first poem, about the holocaust, when she was 12, and has continued writing poetry since.
She added playwriting to her author repertoire, and had several plays published as well as some produced in New England and New York. As a theater/dance reviewer for the Springfield (MA) Daily News, she met many celebrities and free lanced dozens of interviews to fan magazines. She now writes dance features for Art Times Journal.
A great believer in reading to children, Ms. Trevens, mother of two daughters, wrote Stories of Fairies, Elves and Little People over 30 years ago, which was published by Waldman. Today she is writing a series of read-to-me-fantasy stories which launched with an ebook called Pixie Tales. Three other books will follow in the set, and also be released in pbooks to be distributed by Ingram and available on Amazon early summer.
She wrote the dinner theater segment of Best Plays Annuals for all the years that segment ran,. and wrote the musical theater article for McGraw Hill
