Michelle Lynn Stephens hails from Durham, North Carolina and is a #1 and two-time AALBC National Bestselling Author. Michelle is the founder of Diva’s Heart Publishing, where she uses her motivational writing to tackle tough relationship issues and traumatic life experiences with humor and inspiration. Michelle encourages others to overcome life’s obstacles through faith and perseverance. She is the author of The Divorcée Chronicles:Diary of a Divorcée Diva and co-author of the Brown Girls Books anthology, Single Mama Dating Drama. In January 2017, she released her poetry series, Straight from a Diva's Heart and was a 2018 finalist for the Indie Author Legacy Awards Poet of the Year. Her latest endeavor was starting a picture book imprint, Busy Bee Books, to inspire children to engage in the fundamentals of reading. In addition to writing, Michelle enjoys singing, acting, and performing spoken word poetry. She is a member of World Overcomers Christian Church.
