Revelation: The Eternal Series Book One by Myles Gorospe

I was born and raised in the Philippines and grew up actually not liking to read. There were so many other interesting things that I could do so I avoided most of classes and activities that actually involved reading. That all changed when I was in high school and I was choosing which book to write about. I don't know how or why, and honestly can't even remember, but I ended up with JRR Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings.

After I had finished it, that, is they say, is that. I was dumbfounded by the details and locales, the characters and their triumphs and struggles. To this day, I end up reading The Lord of the Rings at least once a year. It also made me realize that I wanted to be a storyteller. I won't claim that my stories are anywhere near Tolkien's but they are mine, written by me, and by me alone.

In 1997 I moved to the United States and now calling New Jersey my home, I have found the expression I so wanted to share in the form of my first novel, Revelation. The first book in The Eternal Series, which I finished in 2015, has been something that I've been wanting to write about for a very long time. Now I look forward to continuing the work for the second and third installments and feel that I've been given a truly great opportunity to do something I've always loved, even if I didn't know I did.
