MY WRITING JOURNEY

I started writing the moment I made an impression on my chalkboard as an infant, but I did not grow up with an intention of being a writer. Certain occurrences are actual pointers to destiny.
I was part of a team that was practically engaged in putting its best to make the paper adapt to the required standard. I was assigned the Business beat, but I had a surge beyond news writing, so I became a business writer by day and a fervent writer at night. The passion swept through soothing moments of the night, and I scribbled things, which belonged to someone, I didn’t know. This nightlong inspiration got me restless, and all I needed was a medium to get it across to that person. The unique aspect of this passion is that it has an alignment with the word of God. At the initial stage, there was no avenue for me to give vent to this vision on a Newspaper that is determined to follow the trend of the New York Times. By reason of my arousing enthusiasm, I took a chance, and the Editor-in-Chief welcomed my proposal to add a religious tone to the Newspaper. I was spared a column to write my Reflections Articles, where I hatched out my divinely conceived thoughts that arrested the attention of a particular audience. I quickly realized that I was making an impact through feedback emailed to my inbox. It was a great opportunity to reach out to the right hearts. I needed a more flexible medium to relay my message in volume, so my first book was published.
