I started writing my first book (Hot Tea: The Tea Series, Book One) on a lark. Having been told all my adult life I should write a book, I did. Mostly to entertain my children and later my grandchildren with claims of 'I once wrote a book!'

Several months after publishing, I received an email in which a woman shared she had a sister, and they enjoyed a relationship, not unlike the main characters in the book. She told me that reading about Cara and Teagan; she laughed her way through chemotherapy. She wanted to know when the next book would be out. She needed a diversion while enduring more medical treatments. I started typing almost immediately.

That was more than two dozen books ago. Since then things like editors and proofreaders, cover designers and beta readers have entered the process, but the love of storytelling is still what drives me. It must be the Irish in me. I have, after all, kissed the Blarney Stone more than once.
