An avid outdoor educator with an MA in elementary ed, Shride's passion is sharing her love of travel, native cultures, leadership and nature with others including her teenage daughter who was the inspiration for Shride to write the multi-award-winning Lucy Dakota: Adventures of a Modern Explorer series and create the Lucy Dakota Girls Leadership Weekend.
