The Dancer II by Dale Stubbart

indie ebook cover

The Dancer II continues the story from The Dancer. This story is told from Jamil the artist's point of view.

Jamil has given up his spiritual practices. He barely recovered from the fire he caused the last time he tried them while practicing his art. That painting had made him wealthy. He still painted some from time to time, and the studios still sold his paintings. But they were not quite as good. The studios had declared him dead when he reached 100, so they and he could get more for his paintings. Now at 150, he's bored, even more bored than he was at 100.

Then Jamil becomes disoriented, and somehow he ends up on a dance stage. Jamil found himself walking off the stage, in his elation. He couldn't stop himself, and it was a long way down.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw something spinning toward him. It was spinning very fast, like a tornado, but with much more grace. He found himself knocked to the floor by that spinning something - knocked to the floor of the stage, and not to the floor very far below the stage. For that he was grateful, so he just lay where he was, waiting for this mystery to unfold.

About The Author...

Dale Stubbart

I have written over 80 books in many categories/genres: Spiritual; Environmental; Computer; other Reference including Food/Nutrition; Romance; Poetry; Children’s; Fantasy; Fiction; and Science Fiction. Most of my books fall into multiple categories like Western Sci-fi, Fantasy Romance, Sci-Fi Fantasy, etc. Somehow I have decided which is the major category and have placed them within that category on this website. Click on a book to buy it.
Most of my books are rated G, a few are PG. Reading level is usually Easy or Very Easy and between 3rd and 6th grade. My reference books sometimes are 7th or 8th grade reading. I still try to keep things simple even when they get technical in nature. My books are not formulaic. They are not run of the mill or like every book out there. My books are not boring, usually contain dry humor, are uplifting. And I might like them best because I have a short attention span and they still keep me engaged to the end of the book. It might help that they’re short and concise.
