When Kylie first learned of them she didn't believe that such a thing could exist. She didn't grow up dreaming of unicorns and rainbows, well, maybe just unicorns but she was not an ordinary girl. Her mission was simple, chances of survival, not guaranteed. But she was trained to guard against the terrible things in the night so the rest of the world wouldn't have to.
