Allistar Banks was born and raised in McCormick South Carolina. Ms. Banks is a graduate of Lander University with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and Abbeville High School of 2009. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Books Writers & Illustrators and the Augusta Women’s Club. As an undergrad student, she discovered her passion for writing children and adult literature. Her passion for writing began at the age of eight which included making picture books that describe fantasy figure, places, and type. Ms. Banks focuses on creating stories that are fun and educational. Her blog focuses on stories that are based on her experiences and also lessons for children to learn.
