Spotlight On Indie Author Aubrey Gross
indie author Aubrey Gross

Aubrey’s been reading and writing since she was about two and a half, and has been a storyteller for as long as she can remember. Early on, she discovered a love of romance, reading her first Harlequin somewhere around age twelve (it featured an F1 race car driver, as this was long before NASCAR was cool). She wrote her first romance novel in high school. It was admittedly not very good, but she wrote another, and another. She thinks those first few might still be on a floppy disk somewhere in a storage bin. Aubrey eventually honed her writing abilities through undergrad creative writing courses and eventually graduate school, where she earned a Master of Arts in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University. These days she writes books she likes to describe as “stories about broken people healing, finding love, and laughing a little bit, too.”

Big Girls Need Love Too

Getting over your best friend shouldn’t be this hard. Plus-size Molly Sampson has had it–with herself and her best friend Benjamin Davis. And, well, his perfect girlfriend Emery, too. It’s time to get over Benjamin. Stat. At least that’s what she decides in the early hours of New Year’s Day. Fed up–and, okay, nervous–Molly sets her Getting Over Benjamin Plan into motion. Except, well, she hadn’t counted on so many bad dates. Or quitting her job. And definitely not meeting Joe Connolly, a guy she can’t help but be drawn to even if she suspects he has as many secrets as she does. When Benjamin and Emery break up, Molly’s thrown into a bit of a tailspin and faced with one of the toughest decisions of her life–choosing the relative security of what she knows, or taking a leap of faith into the great unknown and finally believing that big girls need love too.

Hair Trigger Heart (Devils Ranch Book 3)

Love’s a shot in the dark… Owen Daniels is a simple man. He has his friends, two thriving businesses, and a kick ass house he renovated himself. He also talks to his dead mom on a regular basis and can’t get a certain curvy brown-eyed woman out of his head. Not to mention the fact that the former soldier and National Guardsman isn’t quite the ladies’ man his friends think he is. Okay, so maybe he isn’t that simple after all. Women’s Three Gun Champion Caridad Mathews is back home in Del Rio, Texas, after leaving seven years ago with a vow to never return. But she’s just inherited her abuela’s house and lost her apartment in Dallas, so back home it is while she tries to get her life back together. The last thing she needs is a sexy ginger distracting her and trying to fight her battles for her. But as Owen and Caridad unearth long-buried secrets, neither can deny the attraction that burns hot between them. Can Caridad learn that trust and vulnerability don’t always lead to heartache and pain? And can Owen break down his own walls and accept that he can’t save everybody?
