Ilona is the aunt of Attila the Hun, who is better known as the Scourge of God. Ilona lives in 2010 while Attila was born in 406. It might seem inconceivable, however she gains ancient magical abilities which makes it possible. Ilona is a doctor yet her inheritance and birthright to become a Healer opens up a new world to her. Ilona is a True Hun. Her life turns upside down after her 29th birthday. She gets a glimpse at her destiny and she has to accept it if she wants to save herself and the future of the Huns.
The True Huns are an ancient, secretive and complex society with strict and fiercely enforced rules only revealed to those come of age. Ilona is a rebel: resourceful and determined enough to find and break these rules but inevitably, she has to face the consequences...
She also finds growing magical abilities within her in the strange world of the True Huns and faced with two choices - does she wants to use her gifts for good... or for absolute evil.
In the secret language of flowers Red Tulip is a symbol of devoted love. Ilona is hopelessly in love with her best friend and her secret desire is that one day he will present her with his Red Tulip. He is seemingly oblivious to her feelings, or is he really? Unexpectedly, she will receive two Red Tulips and she has to make her choice, which one is the one and only for her.
