I started writing on our high schoold newspaper and in our yearbook. When called to active duty during Korea, I wrote for the station newspaper and did public information releases and gave tours of the facility for government VIP and celebrities while waiting on my aircrew school to accept me. I qualified as a flight engineer and then did a total of 43 years active and reserve with the USN. My experiences during those years are the basis for the EXTRACTION series with Tim Ryan. In 2000 I retired from a corporation I founded in California and moved to Texas where I built a home in the beautiful hill vountry and started writing and publishing my books full time. I love flying space available on militry aircraft ( one of the retired benefits) and visiting military bases and talking with our active duty people that presently serve this nation and defend our freedoms.
